How expensive is Nepal for tourists?

Travelling is cheaper than before, the world has developed so much. Now days, international flights are cheaper than before and every one can travel. Travelling Bangkok seems cheaper than to travel Mumbai.

In Asia, Cambodia is the cheapest country to travel, Nepal is not that expensive but it depends where you want to travel. I met a guy from Hungary, he told me that he had visited most of the places in Nepal and he save a lot of money because of couch surfing and sometimes worked in agriculture farm.

But for normal journey inside you need minimum 20 USD per day. If you drink alcohol, Nepal is much expensive thaon other countries. And if you are backpackers, staying in hostel or cheaper guess house, eat in a normal restaurant, travel in a local bus, and tight with your budget, it cost you minimum 10 USD per day. Luxurious journey cost you 100 USD a day. If you want to trek solo, it is much cheaper but with guide it is bit expensive and some treks like Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kanchenjunga Trek, Dolpa or upper Mustang Trek are more expensive.

I think, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mongolia, Iran, and Indonesia are cheaper to visit in Asia rather than other countries. Food, accommodation and fare, Nepal has cheaper accommodation than other countries.

India is cheaper to travel only accommodation is bit expensive.

Cheapest country to travel in Asia- Angkor Wat, Cambodia

The best way to travel, Nepal or any Asian country is hiring a bike and look around. Hiring a bike is very cheaper, and cycle is more cheaper.
